Chasing Repairs and Orders
If you are looking to chase a repair or an order collection, we are not giving updates over the phone, we just do not have the capacity due to the volume of work we have. Please email info@bournemouthcycleworks.co.uk, or contact us using this form and we will give you an update as soon as we physically can. Please understand we are all working as hard as we can, and repairs and bike builds are being done in strict order that they were received as parts and stock become available. We are seeing delays from all our suppliers now as well as delays in the courier and postal system.
Browsing and Checking Stock
From Tuesday 24th March we are closed for general browsing. Please refer to our website www.flcuk.com – you can order online for delivery or click and collect.
If you are looking to check stock of an item, then please refer to our online shop, www.flcuk.com, where we are now displaying stock levels to help you see what we have. If you can place an order online, or by email, that would be a huge help, we are of course available on the phone if you cannot.
Follow the guidance
If you or anyone in your immediate family/household are unwell or showing symptoms that could be attributable to coronavirus we respectfully ask you not to visit the shop and follow the latest government guidance.
We are making sure all contact points are cleaned multiple times a day and have suitable PPE for all our staff.
Support your local shops
Not just bike shops, but all your local shops. We will all need your support in the coming months. Think local.
We can still help
If you require assistance please call to discuss this with us (01202 424 945), or preferably use our contact form. We can collect bikes, and also deliver items.
If you would like to book a repair collection, please call the shop on 01202 424 945, or book online. If you need you bike for work transport and are a key worker, not only do you get a discount, but we will prioritise your repair to get you back on the road asap. If we can’t get it fixed before your shift ends, we’ll loan you a bike until it is fixed.
Avoid Cash Please
We would like to avoid cash payments wherever possible so please bring your bank card to take payment. We can also send invoices for online payment for any repair work or shop items.
Get out and exercise
Current guidance suggests exercise once a day is still good as long as reasonable distances are maintained. With the upcoming weather, there is no better time to get out on your bike. If you have a bike, then get it out the shed, pump up the tires and get out and ride. It will improve your mood and give you a welcome break from the indoors, especially while the sun is out!
As the current situation is a rapidly changing one we will keep you updated with any changes as they occur.
