Currently, we do not have any demo bikes for hire. Once our suppliers re-establish their hire fleets, then we will re-open the program.
If you’re looking for a new bike, then riding it first is the best way to make sure it’s the right bike for you. You can take any of the bikes in our shop for a spin round the streets surrounding the shop, but we’ve also got an always changing range of ‘demo bikes’ you can hire so you can take them out for a proper ride on the trails. Ride them uphill, downhill, through the singletrack, get them muddy, whatever you need to do to find out if it’s your next bike.
You can hire any of the bikes for one day: From £40 (bike must be collected and returned on the day) or for the weekend: From £70 (can be collected after 4pm Friday and must be returned before 11am Monday). EMTBs are from £60 for the day and £90 for the weekend respectively.
If you decide to purchase a bike from us following a demo bike session we will deduct the cost of the demo bike hire from the purchase of the bike. Even if you take more than one out.
On the day a valid credit card and photo ID (passport or drivers license) in the name of the rider is required for all demo bike bookings. These items will be retained by the staff during the ride and returned to the rider at the end of the ride.
We have access to a large range of demo bikes through our suppliers, and we keep quite a few at the shop ready to go.
We always have a selection of Giant Carbon Road Bikes and Giant Full Suspension Mountain Bikes available for demo. If we don’t have one in your size then we can normally get something in a few days. We also have a the Giant e-bikes available to hire.
Trek Bikes:
We have a selection of Trek Domane, Emonda and Madone carbon road bikes and Trek Fuel Ex, Remedy and Top Fuel demo bikes. Again, if we don’t have the Trek of your desire, then we can usually get one for you to try. We also have the Trek e-bikes available to hire.
Focus Bikes:
We have a large range of Focus e-Bikes available to hire. Pretty much something from each part of the range, include the Thron and Jam.
Kalkhoff Bikes
We have a selection hybrid e-bikes from Kalkhoff, include the Image.
Riese and Muller Bikes:
Most of the range available to hire with some notice, Including the Charger, Super Charge, Nevo, Packster, Load and Swing.
