Dirt 100 2011: Transition Double.
If there were any doubts that the Double would once again make it into the Dirt 100 then the addition of a 100mm travel mode immediately put paid to them. As an 80mm bike it’s superb in an almost ‘damage limitation’ kind of way for heavy landings and the like, but then whack it into 100mm mode and it suddenly changes into more of an all–round machine with suspension that works all the time. Unlike many adjustable travel bikes both settings warrant use, making this easily one of the most versatile hard hitting short travel frames around. Don’t let the small amount of travel put you off though, this frame is made for going big and fast, and it excels at it too.
